Pumpkin Morouga F1- just a nickname- sweet as and nice

I thought they were a one-off , but they are nice and sweet. Not as hot , as the Reds. You can see the difference between the two above The Pumpkin is smaller and sweeter and has a really nice flavour. I think the red had burnt rubber taste myself. The orange has none of that.

The seeds were from Jim Duffy- two different plants, I don't think it is a Hybrid. cos he isolates his plants.

The reds , are from the Morouga plant next to it.

Isolating stuff these days means very little with especially super hots.
Every time some guy gets something different it's an instant NEW strain or variety.
Hawked as such anyway,stable or not.

Glad you got what you got.
If in several seasons in isolation it stays the same -cool...
If not Oh well...I'm sure something else will come along.

Cheers Smokey, you are right- but I couldn't' help myself. It didn't have the burnt rubber morouga taste and was sweet. I like it, it's nowhere near as hot, just tastes good.

Once my heater get's here and going at night no worries- just ordered one for my balcony- should start producing again en masse.
