Purple Cotyledons...

I've noticed that some of my Cotyledons on my Moruga Scorpion and Caroline Reaper plants are purple.  Should I be concerned?

probably just suntan/sunburn. How close are the lights and what type?
 
usually when I mist my plants and have them under the flourescents they tan/purple up.
 
I'm using a Sunleaves Pioneer VIII high output T5 (8 tubes).  The light is about 8" above the plants.  Here are a couple pics:
