Purple Pepper Project

The goal is to (have fun and) breed a pepper that has purple skin, purple flesh, purple foliage, good flavor, and medium heat (~30-50K SHU).

I’ll also experiment with fermented sauces, paprika, etc.

I’m growing 12 plants on each of four mobile platforms. Each platform has wheels, handles for easy lifting by two adults, and a self-contained irrigation system that connects to a hose.

I chose this mobile setup because our yard is mostly concrete, and we’re having work done on our home. If needed, I can move a platform by truck to another location.
