yesterday i was cookin chili for a christmas party and a guy that i know says he is wanting to give me a dozen or so hot sauces that he has collected over the years. the question i have(there all still sealed by the way) if there is no experation date on them do you think they would be ok to consume or should i play it safe and just display them??

I purchased a bottle of sauce the other day and it was sealed on the outside with the plastic BUT the cap had never been screwed on tightly and the result was a sauce that had pretty much thickened to the point that you couldn't get it out of the bottle. So unless there are dairy products involved or they have been opened, or not sealed properly, they should be ok.
