Ive got flowers but are they supposed to be straight up for the peppers to grow up?

There not hanging down but not facing the big blue... input?

So the flowers are NOT supposed to be sticking up correct?

They'll point down at first and then once the pepper is pollinated it will start to point upward as the pepper pod grows. They grow this way because most of the time the flowers self pollinate and if they were facing upward the pollen would fall to the base of the flower and never pollinate properly since gravity makes the pollen fall downward.

Even when the pods grow erect the flower heads themselves will/may not be facing the sky, they will be upright stems with slightly downward/sideways facing flower heads if that makes sense??

Ah interesting! Thanks i just figured that the pods wouldnt grow up if the flower wasnt facing up
