I was contemplating this evening, THP has been a pretty great community, so I was thinking about starting a rainy day fund. Maybe a dollar a month into the kitty jar. It would be completely voluntary. In the past we had members who fell on hard times, perhaps someone who need's help bottling that super special hot sauce, heck even hosting this site cant be cheap.
Perhaps the boss can set up a PayPal account in which we can contribute to. I don't know how the funds would be distributed, but perhaps we could create some sort of "round table" or voting system. Just thinking out loud. My 4 quarters are ready to be dropped into the mason jar. Wonder if this idea is valid? Thoughts? Cheers!
