I've got all my potted peppers on the lawn at the back of my yard, but I would like to move them to my concrete patio. The only problem is that there is hundreds of little red clover mites running around. The kind that smear red when you squish them. Do these pose any threat to pepper plants?

I think I have these around too. I thought they were spider mites. Didn't know about clover mites.
I think he's talking about spider mites. There are preditory mites you can buy that will take care of those guys...can't remember the name right now.
Are you sure they're not harvest mites a.k.a. chiggers? Do you itch a lot around the ankles? The harvest mites have been harmless to my plants.
