there are a few that look like this

is it top bunching(straight up) or does it hang downward??

also can we have a pic of the plant that will help also

Almost impossible to say from one pod. - I've had round pods on many of my annuums and chinenses, it happens, especially early in the season, so I wouldn't worry if they're not supposed to look like that.

If all the pods look like that there's still plenty of varieties: Tondo Calabrese, Lebanese Marbles, Filius, - just from the top of my head, i bet there's many more.
