I don't like giving bad reviews, but I have to rate the Dandicut as a below average Chile. The flavor was normal Red Chile Flavor. It was decently concentrated, some pods more flavorful than others. The heat also varied, but none of the pods were 60,000 scovilles. They varied from around 15,000 - 40,000. The annoying thing about eating them was the consistency. I've never eaten this size of a whole dried pod. I literally choked from the amount of dry material that exploded in my mouth, after chewing one of the pods. It is better to crush these and eat the flakes, taking in less quantity at once.

There is nothing terribly wrong with this chile, but I've had much much better.
