Robisc 2012 Bama peppers

Hello all, I'm new here and to "extreme" pepper growing and appreciate all of the great info here, I live in North Alabama so have a some good pepper growing weather, I have grown peppers for about 15 years, just the Bonnie plant garden varieties like jalapeno, cayenne, habanero, serrano, thai and tabasco and after discovering the Bhut Jolokia or "ghost pepper" last year I want to grow them too, I am a hot sauce collector/fanatic and have always been intrigued by the hotter the better. So looking forward to jumping in a sharing what I'm doing which of course pales in comparison to everyone else here but just thought why not?

I have a few plants in the garden already and am close to having some baby peppers, i planted the plants at the end of April, Also I have a couple ornamental plants in containers and have ordered and started some seeds that I know I'm way late on but gonna see what i can do with them this year, I ordered some Naga Morich/Bhut Jolokia can't really find out what the difference in these are though, also I have some Trinidad Scorpions started, these seeds were all started on May 27. Next year I plan on starting way earlier and have a few other varieties I want to try just not sure where to find the seeds but i will try and keep this fairly updated with pics and here is what I have right now.

here's a Bonnie plant cayenne in my small garden, all of these are in native red Alabama soil just using tomato miracle gro biweekly.

I'm in Hayden / Corner alabama down by Cullman, take a look at my glog and it might give you some ideas for when to start next season. Looking good so far.

Thanks guys, I've gotta long way to go and coheed I just checked out your glog, that's some beautiuful plants!

when do my seedlings that are about 1" tall need to come out from under the plastic cover, I'm assuming now?

Some bad news for my baby plants, my first time growing from seeds has ended badly, my Naga Morich, Bhut Jolokia and Trinidad Scorpions I started as seed didn't make it, there was about a 50% germination rate and they made it to about 2 inches tall with tiny leaves and have now shriveled up and died, water and heat levels were right too, guess I'm learning. I know it is late in the season but I really want to get a Trinidad Scorpion Butch T and a Trinidad Scorpion Moruga started from seed this year so I can overwinter them for next year but real low on funds right now and can't order the seeds now so guess I'll just have my Habs and Ghost plants be the "super hots" I have this year. I'll post some pictures later of my plants that I started not as seeds.
