Interesting piece of machinery!

I recently busted the seal on my espresso machine and can't get it off to replace. Maybe I'm being told it's time to try something different... ;)
 
Now that analogy has the power to make sales! ;)

What quality of espresso does one of these things produce? I'm not a coffee snob or anything but is it comparable to that of, say, at least a lower end espresso machine? I don't want nothing that tastes like it came out of a plunger or moka pot or something! (been there, done that, discovered I had *some* standards! :lol:)
