Interesting piece of machinery!

I recently busted the seal on my espresso machine and can't get it off to replace. Maybe I'm being told it's time to try something different...

Now that analogy has the power to make sales!

What quality of espresso does one of these things produce? I'm not a coffee snob or anything but is it comparable to that of, say, at least a lower end espresso machine? I don't want nothing that tastes like it came out of a plunger or moka pot or something! (been there, done that, discovered I had *some* standards! )

Looks like a french press espresso hybrid.
