RRC-420 Moruga Scorpion pod test. RRC I think are the initials for Ron Crum. It wasn't as hot as I was prepared for, but I think it could have either been a little over ripe, or just a weaker pod from the plant. I only ate a 1/4 piece too. I've sample other pods from the same plant before, and they seemed much hotter. I recorded this a few weeks ago, not too long after eating the Brainstrain.

Great review Peter. Not sure about the RRC 420 name though, unless there is something unique about the flavor or heat? Appearance wise it looks like a standard moruga from Duffy seed to me.

Thanks hogleg. Yeah, I agree with you. I couldn't find any difference between that and other Moruga Scorpions.

Compared with this pod, Adam's cross was way way hotter, probably two to three times at least. I have eaten a whole pod Moruga a couple times in the past that approximate the heat of Adam's cross, but I think they were on the upper end of what Moruga's get to.
