Here's a chance to enter your sauce/dip recipe and maybe get some royalties from the sale of said sauce if Dave's Gourmet chooses to make and sell your recipe.

Basically, by entering a recipe, you agree to sign over all rights to that recipe in exchange for the royalties as listed in the rules. It's open to everyone, pros and home cooks. There's a spot for referals for how you heard about the contest.

You should not label something a rip off just because you disagree. All of the info is there, if you read it you know exactly what you are entering. I read it in it's entirety. I see no rip off. You pay nothing. You may win something. Where is the rip off? So they may not choose a grand prize winner. They have that right and it is right there in print. So don't enter!

(Sorry, but don't like seeing rip off mis-applied)

As I read it, they could choose more than one winning recipe and all those people will get royalties up to $1M, depending on how well the product sells for them. If the recipe is chosen as a winner, the submitter gets $2,000 to start, regardless if they put the product into production or how much it sells after that.

If they don't like any of the recipes that are submitted, they can decide to not choose any winner.

I could have misunderstood something. Hope I don't steer anyone wrong.
