My favorite hot sauce is the taco shop style hot sauce and I've been looking everywhere for a bottled-type sauce that rivals it. I have been unsuccessful so far. After reading many reviews it appeared that Scorpion Bay De Arbol hot sauce was THE sauce I've been looking for. Unfortunately, their website doesn't work and I read on this forum that they've gone out of business and the owner just seemed to drop out of sight altogether.
I've found several online stores still selling his sauce but I'm concerned about the expiration of the sauce since Scorpion Bay has been defunct for over a year. Do you think the sauce will still be good? This hot sauce--including shipping prices--is pretty expensive and I just want to be sure it will be worth it.
If anyone knows of a great chile de arbol bottled hot sauce similar in taste to the taco shop's please let me know!
