seeds Seaweed Tea for Chile Seedlings

Has anyone got any experience using tea made by steeping seaweed in water? I harvested some seaweed while I was at the beach, so I've soaked it in water and plan to use it with my chile and tomato seedlings. I've got no idea how much to use or how strong a solution to use. Does anyone know if it could cause problems?

I personally never used it, but I have used the OTC stuff that's essentially suppose to be just that. Either way seedlings really don't "need" anything other than good water, soil, and sun. I would probably hold off until they are at least 6" or so just in case it's too much for them to handle.
