seeds Seed sprouted upside down?

It appears to me that one of my takonotsume has sprouted upside down. Its about an inch long and has what appears to be the seed at the top should I attemp to turn it over?

Sounds like helmet head.
It will be fine, I would not try to take the seed coat off unless you take the risk of losing the plant.

that's normal.

keep putting a drop of water on the seed head to keep it soft. it should eventually work itself out

Hurry, pull it out and turn it right side up before it's to late!!!

Keep it moist and if it doesn't fix itself just discard it, means it's a sucker anyway! :-)

Had you pulled it you would have seen the roots on the other end. "Helmet head" happens.
