danish Oct 18, 2014 #2 Differs depending on the factors. Are you plugging or pricking? Are you transferring at cotyledon or first true leaves? I personally prick at true leaf. A combination of leaf mold and sand, majority sand. If you prick at cotyledon you could probably just use sand.
