seeds seedling with one cotylendon

I've got a large red 7pot that only has one cotylendon...is that unusual? Will it grow properly?

Seedlings and snow, front right well

Not sure how it will do, since they need the cotyledons for initial growth/photosynthesis... I have one that the cotyledons got pinched halfway off when I pulled the seed cover off of it, and it's much smaller than the rest now.... still seems to be growing though, so I left it alone. If anything, it'll probably be stunted until it gets its first true leaves.Leave it and see what it does.

I had a Chiltepin a few weeks ago that came up with no cotyledons on it. It was literally just a stick. Now it is about 2 inches tall and is doing fine. Give it a chance, it may surprise you.
