you can easily substitute kung pao for the punjab hot, they really look a lot a like and my experience with the "cayenne" types, is they all really taste a like and have similar heat. so, you could substitute dundicut, sannam, suryanki cluster or any of the cayenne type and get the same thing. you can use jwala, goatsweed(though a lot hotter) but any red type.... they will all taste the same!
