I started in September 2015
Last seeds have been sown in May
As we have subtropical climate there is no real winter and we can grow all the year around.

Thanks!

Here are a few pictures of the actual situation:

Only a few of you may know that we moved from the Canary Island La Palma to the Canary Island Lanzarote last year in August.

The new greenhouse is small... too small and in a few weeks I´ll have plenty of space to grow as much as I want.

Finally got my import permit, too late for this season, but hope to order again this year.  Hope all those in your grow make it to your site for sale this fall.

Ooo grab some for me as well !

Holy cow that's a lot of plants :)
Good luck and keep posting ... it's nice to look at so many plants and just ... dreaming

Thanks!

You may see that there is little space between the plants.
This could lead to unwanted crossings.

To solve the problem I decided to build a new greenhouse with plenty of space.

The picture shows the actual state, cleaned from weeds and graded with the first posts in position.

I´m waiting for the temps to drop a little bit (we are suffering from a wave of heat at the moment) to
continue the work.

Ah yes, will have permit prior to next season. Looks great Peter!
Don't wait.  I saw some people got theirs in a few weeks, mine took 3 months.  Started on January 9, got the permit April 6.  Took several follow up emails / calls.  They were nitpicking everthing with me, with is not surprising.

USA:
As far as my customers reported correctly, the first shipment can be done with a copy of the application form. In the last months all shipments went through that had declared content (green CN22 lable) "small lots of seeds, Capsicum species, origin: Spain, declared value and all seed packages with a species lable attached.
I sent some with application form, some with permit and some without permit or application and all went through.

AUSTRALIA:
I got a warning letter not to send prohibited Capsicum species to Australia.
Allowed are only the following according to their list:

Capsicum anomalum
Capsicum baccatum
Capsicum galapagense
Capsicum galapagoense
Capsicum microcarpum
Capsicum pendulum
Capsicum praetermissum
Capsicum pubescens
Capsicum tovarii
Capsicum umbilicatum

Wow. Was just reading up on how to do the permit. All looked good until I got to the part where you need a level 2 access account. I have to go to a local registration authority (LRA) at a USDA service center to validate my level 2 profile just to be able to fill out a permit. Too much work just to buy some seeds that I can more than likely trade for. Shame because I was eyeing some things from Semillas as well as Hippy Seed for next year. You'd think I was trying to buy some radioactive seeds from the moon. Might just place an order and risk it. I know many others do and everything comes out fine. Of course I'll probably be that one out of 100 that gets their seeds confiscated.

The new greenhouse looks like it's going to be awesome. Can't wait to see it finished.
