Huasteco and Tampiqueno are two of the most popular landrace serrano.
Which one is your favorite, Hogleg?

I grew Hotrods last year. Supposedly, an F1 cross. I was very impressed with how many pods they produced, and quite early despite my best efforts to mess everything up, but I think I can do better on flavor... I'll probably grow Hotrods again in 2018, because I got all these seeds.. But I am curious as to what Serrano epicures prefer.

I'm (kinda) sorry if I am thread jacking here LOL

Neither the Huasteco nor the Tampiqueño serranos are landrace that I can find.

I think you may be using the word landrace too freely.

Yes, everyone knows that the most popular Serrano landrace is a random one purchased at a mercado by a hypothetical friend. Anything else is of questionable authenticity.
