annuum serrano search

I'm looking for a couple of serrano (type) seeds. Anyone point me in the right direction for Sinahuisa , Huasteco or Hidalgo seed or 2 ?
I'm not having much luck.

You may be overthinking this. Huasteco indios are a tribe in and around the state of Hidalgo, Vera Cruz and etc in Méjico. Many localities have landrace chiles which they sell as unique and different that the usual serranos, but I see and purchase them in mercados and they are quite similar to other serranos.

You are not likely to get Huastecan landrace seeds unless you go to a local mercado. The campesinos are not in the seed business, they grow and sell chiles.

Nice to see someone hunting serrano landraces, they're pretty overlooked nowadays.
Local sources or direct sourcing in foreign countries are best when talking about landraces, like Willard told you.
I wish i had some direct connections there...
Anyway in the past season i've grown the Huasteco from Jukka:

they're worthy and definetely different from generic F1 crap.
Recently Judy released an oaxan "Drying Serrano" (i was gifted a pack :) ):

Probably many others THP folks may send you seeds for free.

Thanks everyone (Datil, willard3 and kentishman) for the help. Still looking for a Huasteco or landrace serrano if anyone has any leads. I've got some different seeds for trade if that helps.
