Serviceberry?

Found what I think is serviceberry right beside the patio we each lunch on at work.
the berries don't seem to darken to purple/blue (birds might eat them too fast)
But some were definitely a darkening red. a few little seeds inside.
I tried one and didn't die, cramps, vomit, etc.
can't for the life of me remember if it has the flowers and fall foliage. I eat next to it all the time.
any specific way to ID?

Saskatoon/Service berries are dark blue/purple. Got lots of them here in the parks, yummm.

It seems there are many varieties of service berry, and even what I call wild plums might be one! I can't positively identify yours though

If you search on Google images on 'serviceberry unripe' you get loads of pictures that very closely resemble yours.

Talked to groundskeeper at the hospital and he confirmed its a Serviceberry. Told me there were 2 or 3 more around also.
Today there were a little darker. They definitely taste good at the dark red stage. I'll keep an eye on them and see how dark they get.

I keep checking the mulberry tree and they are all white. I need to go out to my land and see if there are any ripe ones

Looks like they do darken up!
They were tasty before, but now they are really good. The little seeds seem to have become less noticeable.
