Setting Up Mylar- Help Needed

Well, getting mylar in soon so I though I might post this question now. I'm going to be placing these on the sides of my light hoods. Do I:
a. Just tape it to the hood and be done with it, letting it drape down.
b. tape it to some cardboard so that it's solid and won't tair or wrinkle.
c. Figure out a recipy for beer pie, thus becoming ruler of the universe
d. none o fthe above

It depends on the thickness of the mylar. If its thin (2mm) and you can see threw it in bright light then it needs a backing but 4mm I think is thick enough but you also want it laying as flat as possible.

Ya, It's 2mm thick.

Iggy when I put up my mylar I used a staple gun and little pieces of cut cardboard. Lay the mylar out then place a small piece of cardboard and staple through both. Really helps with not ripping the mylar. In your case I'd just tape to some cardboard and place all around your setup.
