Matt lives across town and he is still breathing!
 
I texted him a while back to offer him some pods from the plants he gave me this spring.  He was interested, so he's still into stupid-hot peppers.  He also mentioned some manner of catastrophe that apparently befell his hydro garden.  I'll try to find out if it was a rampaging wife/GF, bugs, technical meltdown, or whatever that got his plants.  I think he's also been buried in a series of crazy work adventures.

     I hope all is well with him and that his hydro system wasn't damaged too badly in the explosion/fire lol. I have some of his fatalii x red savina seeds that are going into soil in about two months.
