for-sale SFRB of reaper pods for sale

I didn't want to get interfere during the auction, but now that it is over, I have enough Carolina Reapers to fill at least 1 small flat rate box. They have been separated from all the other plants, but just as the other peppers looked, most have a shape that is not perfect in form. These will come from 5 different plants, so there WILL be a little variance in the pods. They are genetically not as good if you want perfect form and I have only been collecting seeds from the better plants with better form. They are still reapers from the source and are very hot. The boxes, including shipping in the US, is $29, like my other boxes. I haven't mentioned the other peppers lately just because people here are selling them for $20 and the like, but when I saw people willing to pay more than what I charge for these, I had to speak up, but after the auction, I want to do business, but at the same time I don't want to step on anyone's toes. Above all, you have to respect the community. :) Tom

Is a picture of the pods on the plants good enough, or do I need to pick a box full before I know if anyone even wants these things for sure or not? Just checking, it has been raining just about all day today so I didn't get very much done, but hopefully, at least in the morning I can get a decnet shot before it starts coming down again. We have had about 14 inches of rain just in the last 10 days. The pepper plants are loving it though, the xeric plants, not so much already. Tom

either one would help you sell them.  A picture is worth a thousand words!  Plus i want to see them because i love peppers!
Well, how can I refuse a man that isn't afraid to admit that he wants to see some pod porn. :) Here is a picture of two plants that have enough peppers on them to more than fill one box. Many have small tails or points on the ends but not the squatty round peppers with long tails like we were supposed to be getting. The right plant has been tested to have the hottest peppers from the six plants that have been tested. (taste tests)There should end up being about 30 to 35 peppers in the box and if you want more peppers from either of these plants, I'll pick that one first. Lets see if I can put an image in here now. Tom

Hey there Tom. Didn't you see my post? I offered to buy these.
I did see that, but I have been checking to see if it is legal to send you those fresh peppers. I understand you are willing to take the risk that if they get confiscated, you aren't going to worry about it. Even though that makes me feel better, you have to understand what I have done for a living over the last 27 years. I mainly grow cycads for a living. They are all on the endangered species list. This means that all plants and some seeds need to come with CITES permits before I am allowed to ship them to other countries. I get e-mails every single month from people in other countires who have plenty of money to throw at me who want me to ship to them saying, they are willing to take the risk if they don't show up. The bottom line with these people is that it is illegal and no matter how much money they want to spend(which is in the 10s of thousands sometimes), I refuse to break CITES regulations. I am looking to see what the laws really are first, and if it is legal, I would be happy to ship these to you. If there is a risk they will be confiscated, that makes me think there is a legal reason why they shouldn't be shipped. Probably some sort of phyto requirement, unless you know and can tell me the reason. When I find out the situation, I'll respond.

Fair enough Tom, that's grand. No, sorry I'm new to the chili scene and I don't know the ins and outs of shipping. The offer is still there if sending them is possible :)Thanks Robert.
