shipping Shipping salsa in plastic containers.

Before you comment, I know safety wise, dont do it. This is more of a whos been risky and tried it before thread. Lol.

I have tons of friends nationwide that want some salsa for the holidays.

It has a low pH balance. I cant afford to send it in insulated packages, and not gonna pay overnight for shipping.

Theyre all 1-3 days away shipping times. They know to check it when it arrives and pop it in the fridge.

Who has or whos experienced shipping or receiving salsa in plastic containers?

Idk if Ill do it if theyre 3 days shipping. Just wanted to hear what others have experienced. Thanks!

Why plastic? Just go glass, hot water bath, and you're good to go. As far as I'm aware (haven't done it myself) if you HWB the pH can be anything you want. Once open just refrigerate and use asap.

I already do that. This was more of a question I wanted others to chime in about if theyve experienced the plastic route.
