Shout-Out to Dyna-Gro Pro-Tekt!!!

Ive been using Dyna-Gro products for the last couple of years, and I must say that I am most impressed! Pro-Tekt is a silicon additive that works like Rhino Skin, for the canna growers. Its a protectant that makes the plants stronger, shinier, and able to withstand extreme weather temps.

Last night, I hauled in about 7 plants because it was supposed to get down to 30°F. Well, it got down to 28°F

And all of the outside plants, in-ground AND pots, were all fine.

I used it on a canna plant last year and had the same stellar results!

I only use Garden lime, Foliage-Pro: 9-3-6 and Protekt throughout the season, unless something looks deficient, which is rare.

I highly recommend trying out this line! I just saw last spring that they have a Flush as well.

Do you spray on the plant or add to the soil?

Have you tried using the product on some pepper plants, but not others, and comparing results?
I have only added to the soil. Never tried a foliar spray.

I have not compared treated and untreated pepper plants yet, so I can’t ACTUALLY say it’s doing its job. But I don’t know if I’ve been able to leave plants outside at that temp before.
