Show Me Your Trellis

Here's a trellis I helped build at the farm today. It's about 75 feet long, double sided and made entirely with recycled materials (ie, pallet wood). It's on a raised 4 ft wide bed, and will support 2 rows of indeterminate tomatoes. When harvesting time comes, you can walk down either side or the middle. Pepper plants will alternate with tomatoes (T-P-T-P) for shade and humidity. We still need to build one more row like this, but the smaller determinants will use a simpler post and wire weave trellis.

This is the trellis system I built for my tomatoes.  It's made out of one (1) inch EMT piping.  I'm using biodegradable twine and vine clips from Johnny's Seeds.  Sturdy, strong, and worth the coin I put into it.
