sick plants

guys i need someone to help me with what is causing a few of my plants to drop leaves, turn yellow and just look wrong. they seem to be hanging in there so i'm hoping i can bring them back to health.

Do I see aphids on the lower leaf in the first picture? Er...that would mean it was over on the right since the picture hasn't been rotated. Those white specks, what are they?
