Beef Rendang Cooking Typical West Java [ tempat tinggal saya ]

ingredients:

     1 kg of beef, cut into 3 x 3 cm square
     2 L coconut milk from three coconuts
     1/2 coconut, grated, roasted, mashed

puree:

     100 gr onion
     200 grams of red chili curly
     6 cloves of garlic
     1/2 tsp candle nut
     1/2 teaspoon pepper
     5 cm galangal
     4 cm ginger
     1 tablespoon salt

Other spices:

     1 sheet turmeric leaf, torn, make a knot
     6 lime leaves
     4 bay leaves
     2 stalks lemongrass, crushed
     1 piece kandis acid

Rendang Cooking Method:

     Combine coconut milk, spice paste, and other spices. Simmer until thick and greasy, reduce the flame. Add finely ground toasted coconut and stir well.
     Enter cuts of beef, cook over low heat until the meat is tender, stirring constantly until it dry seasoning and lightly browned. Remove and serve

I can see that lemongrass stalk in there... and the pastiness of the cooked down coconut gravy sticking to the meat... oh man stop you're killing me... I'm not kidding, this is my favorite beef dish of any cuisine.
