Singapore Varieties

I have a friend who is in Singapore or a few months. Does anyone know of any cool pepper varieties that could be found there that might be a cool grow for next year? Maybe something rare that people have heard about, or anything with some heat.

I'm sure they have a few birdseye, bird, and cayenne/de arbol type chiles that pack a punch and would grow well in the hot humid Philadelphia summer. I'm not sure if you consider those types cool or not though?

The Bird's eye chilis have been intriguing to me, I might have him get some of those. Maybe at a local market he can pry and find some native super hots that I have never heard about!

Curious to know how you transport peppers back to the States from overseas?

More than a few people have told me that fresh veggies get confiscated at customs, and there is a possibility of a fine.

What do you do, de-seed then dry the peppers?

everytime i have a freind go anywhere, i try to get them to bring me back seeds, ive gotten some from curacao, jamaica and india so far, i'll keep tryin though
