Sirex's attemp to grow the Capsicum and others..... 2016

Soooooooooo.......I guess it's time for ol' Rex-Y-Roo to start a GLOG. Been here long enough. I want to share the thrills of my little victories and agonies of mites and whitefly.

Nice set up, you have quite a few nice over wintered plants there. That mystery pepper has quite a few different pepper traits in it. I can see some resemblance of a cardi scorpion or something with some bhut in it perhaps?

Here is the Lilac Bell. Going to keep it small and just get a pepper or two. It's for the kids to look at, not really mass production.

Most of you probably haven't heard of this but here is a pic of a Valencia Market pod. I thought it was a Venezuelan Tiger at first until I was corrected. Awesome tasting pod with not much heat. Sorry about the potato quality of this pic.

I still can't believe how clean your plants look. The next time I hear someone say, "I don't have room for a garden," I'm totally referring them to you. Really impressive what you're able to accomplish between work and kids in a comparatively small space.

I think Ron hit the nail on the head with the CARDI Scorpion comment. They've never made the most uniform of pods for me, anyway. Ten bucks says it ripens to either red or yellow, and I'm betting red.

Thanks Mike. You've seen the space I'm working with. It iisn't easy, but it's definitely doable. More so if I dwindled down to like ~5 varieties. Yeah right.

Very nice grow. Plants are looking very healthy. Great looking pod's.

I caught one variety that raised my brows, Lemon Drop x Bhut. Now that sounds tasty.
