Slices out of Habanero Leaves

Hello All!

I wish my first post would be of a different nature but I am having a problem with my first plants. They are store bought starters. I purchased a variety of seeds and am now having a blast from growing from seeds. My first two plants are having odd slices out of some leaves. Some leaves have tips cut off. I am new to the planting game so this is really new to me. Anyone know what this could be? Thanks!

I don't see anything I would be concerned too much about. I say that because what I'm seeing looks like a tear and not damage from a bug. You can check underneath all the leaves to look for little buggies to be sure. Bugs tend to hide on the undersides.

If you've had wind, rain or the plants have been knocked around a bit, I think that's where the damage is from.

The bumpy irregular shape of some of the leaves and die back of the tips hints at a Calcium deficiency. The leaves appear to have tears rather than missing slices.

Thanks guys!

Weird is that these plants are on a secured patio (no rain/wind/movement/access to other people). I have been looking at these plants constantly and these tears happened overnight. Still boggles me. I wont worry unless it happens again.

I like the tip about the Calcium. I have been wondering about the leaves being bumpy and the top ones being curled. Going to pick up a calcium supplement today. That's something I didn't know about. Ty :)
