A small batch of Bhuts about to be dehydrated: I’m not going to check them until at least 72 hours.

It is important to wear surgical gloves when cutting and deseeding superhots. The last time I used my bare hands, they hurt for 3 days!

I've used the Dehydrator a number of times this summer and fall. The manual is way off with drying times, suggesting times way too short. If I adhered to the recommended times, I would have taken out a lot of wet food. Either the manual is simply wrong or perhaps my model operates at lower temps than the reported settings. Even at 72 Hours, sometimes peppers retain a drop of moisture. A few months ago, I kept a few trays of Yellow 7's dehydrating for 104 hours.
