SoCals 1st Glog 2015

Started 2 months late this year....should be planting out but only germinating now. I'll just over winter.

Started these by baggie method on 2/19/15. All seeds are from last pepper swap on GW, so I wanted to check viability. Count as of today 3/5/15 :

I was really hoping for some of the Habs to pop but nothin' ;( I had these on my dryer as it was the only warm spot in the house. Don't use a heater(not cold here) and refuse to pay for cable. Get all the channels I need anyways

Yesterday on 3/4/2015 I started in Jiffy seed starting medium, all seed from same swap:

I have those in a black flat with Plastic wrap loosley on top. Sitting outside at the moment. At night I will put on top of dryer, then back out in the daytime. We have 70's all week, upper 50's at night.
I will be potting up the ones in first list this weekend. More like tomorrow.

     Good variety on that list. I bet, even though you started late, your long growing season will allow your plants to produce plenty of pods.

Had to toss out my flat with my Tazmanian Hab, Yucatan Hab, Chocolate Hab, Purple Jalapeno and Jalafuego
Full of Fungas gnat larvae.... Bummer.
On the plus side I GET TO START MORE SEEDS!!!! Just kidding
My Botinecka Zuta, Santa Fe and Big Boy Jalapeno popped up

Not big enough! I originally started a crap load of seed because I was checking viability...most sprouted and now have to find homes for some. My parents have a 1/4 acre I will be using just for peppers and some tomatoes. I was going to grow beans also but I have my plate full for now
There's a community garden a few blocks from me, I'll probably donate a good part of regular peppers to them.
