seeds Something is eating my seedling's stems!

First it took out my two bhut jolokia seedlings, which were very small at the time. I found them laying on their side with the stem cut.

Now, on some slightly older plants, it's happening again. You can see the missing parts of the stem, its like they are eating the stem's bark or something.

What is eating and killing my plants stems? There are a few whiteflys here and there but just a little and I cant see anything on the base od any of the plants

Could be slugs, they attacked my plants also and ate the pods of my pasilla bajio. If you could make a few pictures, that would make the case a bit easier perhaps.

You sure it isn't dampening off? The stem will rot right at the dirt level and it can look like something bit or chewed it. Pics would be nice. Good luck getting it figured out.

They inside or outside? How big are they?
