Yes, I said I was going to scale back to maybe even nothing.  But, this is just not going to happen.  I love peppers, love growing them, watching other people grow them, developing new crosses, eating them, talking about them, and yes, I even enjoy some drama from time to time ;)

Updated list of varieties germinated.  The yellow and brown chiltepins aren't really working out.  I had five different groups of seed for each, but only one yellow chiltepin came up, and only one brown, but I accidentally cut its head off while trying to get the seed that was stuck to it off.  I was going to grow out five yellow chiltepin plants and five brown chiltepins, each grown from seed from different pods to try to ensure that I get at least one to grow true.  Well, this is one project I can cross off for this season.  On the bright side, I'll have fewer plants to manage.

Here's a little background info. on the  Naga Suomi x [Choco Bhut x Douglah] F2. 
 
I made the original cross, bud didn't grow the F1 out myself.  I shared seed with some people, in particular muskymojo grew it out and got some nice results. Here's a pic from his 2015 glog:

 
He sent me a few pods along with some others at the end of the season, the three in the top right are F1 pods.  This is the source of my F2 seed.
 
Potted up some more seedlings, a couple more red bhuts, choco bhuts, a naga king, and I decided to grow out a red bhut x choco bhut too.

Thanks guys, I'm pretty happy with how things are looking.  About the Scotch Bonnets... the seed never germinated and I didn't feel like resowing, so I'll just grow that some other year.  Maybe I can work out a trade later in the season with someone who is growing them :)
