Nope, there exists a Moroccian cactus called the resin spurge It prodcues a toxin (resiniferatoxin) whcih causes a buring sensation by means of the same mechanism of action to that of chilli peppers but so strongly that it kills nerve cells in the process. To be fair, you couldn't taste it. It's called 'toxin' for a reason, and it will leave your mouth permanently numb because the taste buds die FOREVER. It's also fatal to ingest 30-45 grams of it based on how much internal blistering you'd get.
