indoor-growing Stuck indoors

Just transferred the reapers to new pots.

I'm glad they now have room to grow, but now they can't fit in the window sill I was using for light. I have them in front of a window that only gets a few hours of sunlight coming through it a day due to tree cover. I have limited outdoor space, maybe a 6'x6' area where I also have a tomato plant that has a fungus gnat problem. I have started to get rid of the gnats with neem and mosquito dunks but a few adults are lingering around. How long can I keep them safely inside with such limited light?

fungus gnats shouldnt transfer from plant to plant unless there is an appropriate breeding ground.

I personally would get them outside into the sunshine and let em grow.  Maybe get a bag of sand and sand the top of the soil to keep it dry and keep the fungus gnats from wanting to move over there.
