Sugar Snap Peas

I'm hoping my seeds get here tomorrow or Thursday at the latest. Prepared five, 200-cell trays with potting mix this evening, including compressing the mix. I have another five trays coming with the peas. If things go as planned, I will sow 2000 peas and based on tests, should expect 1300 of them to germinate and grow. Four weeks after sowing them, give or take a couple of days, they should be ready to transplant, then 20-40 days later be ready to start harvesting.

He who gets to the Farmers Markets first wins!

I sowed 1,00o seeds this evening. Once the majority of each tray sprouts, they will go into the GH. There doesn't seem to be consensus about how the seeds will do if the soil freezes while the buggers are in the process of germinating, so I may need to keep the temps at least 30 degrees during the night, maybe 40.

If things go as planned, I'll sow another 600 or so this weekend.
