Just a sugestion but yah if you agree post a comment cause I only have one super hot but no peppers and would REALLYLOVE to try different peppers but at $30/$75 a box thats alot of peppers just to be straight up man i got a family to support lol and cant afford a whole box again sell boxs with 5-10 peppers (SAMPLE BOX)and the buyer pays the shipping fee weather its a mixed box or 1 variety maybe for a limeted time?

I could always go for a smaller sample box - definitely make it easier to try a larger variety. Customer paying for the shipping isn't a bad tradeoff IMO.

It's the off-season for growing and selling fresh pods in the US right now. Some folks live in regions that can grow year-round or maybe use greenhouses and heaters, etc for extended growing and prices reflect that. As they should.

You will see many other opportunities to buy fresh pods in the fall at less prices, but this is the spring. Chiles are a produce crop and are grown by farmers, subject to all the whims of Mother Nature that orange, tomato, okra, and corn growers deal with.

Supply-Demand simple as that~

Salsa lady I understand supply and demand Im merely suggesting is a different sales approach we are selling 3 to 4 for 35 bucks or more ?split it up and sell to 6/8 people and they pay the shipping the seller still gets his money and the buyer gets a sample its a win/win supply and demand I understand money makes the world go around!!!LOL

i will admit a sample pack sounds interesting, because i would like to sample other peppers as well but for me on military pay in CALIFORNIA with a wife and 2 daughters i cant really afford to dish out 35 - 45 bucks not trying to be a charity case but its the truth, maybe a seller can do this not necessarily bakers peppers but a consideration for any vendor....JUST SAYING...

Good Points, I'm sure the growers will read and if they can, accomodate.

Ive been around growing/ farming my whole life. Its a very unstable business. Youve gotta make every dollar possible off of every pound you grow if you wanna stay afloat

Just something to keep in mind: the farmer is the only one in the US economy who buys everything at retail, sells everything at wholesale, and pays the freight charges both ways

If your on base or have some friends that also like the superhots you should be able to find a group of guys that would pay a couple bucks per pod (esp if you catch them after a few drinks at a local watering hole) - figure if he's shipping around 20 - 25+ pods per box from the posted pics if you get $2 a pod for 15 - 20 of them that would pretty much cover the cost and you'd have a few left for yourself !
