Super cropping twist and snap

Haven't seen a thread on this yet, but its a nice method to increase yields by stressing the plant. Basically you gently twist a branch off the main stem in opposite direction until you hear a pop. The location of the break will cause the plant to produce more branches creating more leaves and flowers. I didn't want to post any links to the method because it is usually a canna subject, but you can do a search for super cropping twist and snap. Hope you find it interesting. Cheers!

Did this on one of my Bhuts that I plan to overwinter. Have seen great results on medicinal crops, the "breakingpoint" turns into a nice thick knuckles. I usually squeeze it in 2 directions, you will feel the stalk "breaking" then it drops down from it's weight.
