greenhouse Sweet Greens starters from local greenhouse going in the ground...

By chance I got a flat and a half of sweet green pepper plants and have an area I cleared and fluffed up the soil, add pelletized lime which rain has washed in. I plan to overdig each hole, put the starter plant in with a nice big wad of potting soil, does this procedure sound reasonable ? All my other peppers are in pots and they are doing fine. I won't plant them close to the foundation of the house either to keep the roots from overheating from the heat generated from the sun on concrete. They only get from noon to dust direct sun exposure as well.

Any other tips, suggestions ? I have 24 plants.

Ghosty...
