My girlfriend and myself took a vacation to Ormond beach, FL. In the lobby of our hotel, we found a menu for Thai Erawan restaurant.
Last night we ate there.
Located in a strip mall, we didn't think it would be that nice, but we were wrong. The atmosphere is very friendly and the decorations are pretty fancy.
As soon as you order your appetizer, they bring you two large jars of dried chili flakes and a chili paste. Both are very flavorful and mildly hot. I would give them a 5 of 10 on the heat scale.
I ordered the "Two Friend Panang". It is Prawns, Chicken, steamed mixed veggies with panang curry sauce. I ordered mine "Thai Hot" which is their hottest available. While the food was outstanding, the heat unfortunately was maybe a 6 of 10.
The beer and wine list is pretty long, with selections from all over the world.
I would highly reccomend this place to anyone who is going to be in the area.
