the buzz around the fuzz ...

just a heads up for mycos (one of many here on the forum)

I potted seedlings up about 4-5 weeks ago ... today I decided to let 2 of them go into soil ... I was really surprised about the quantity of roots they put out in such a short time (iirc, i only managed to water them 3 times in the pot)!



here is the "overview/orientation shot"

I used myco when I put them from the seeding tray into the pots. Of course you always hope the stuff you bought is good and does something ... well, it looks like it did ... look at all the fuzz on the roots ... so there is both good quantity and quality of them

pic from the other plant ... its got more fuzz than my chin did when I turned 16

again, I think the money spent on myco is money wisely spent ...

local chilean stuff - its probably nothing to write home about in the context of what is available in the USA ... for the same reason, I was really surprised this particular product worked (my hopes were not that high)

fwiw ... i used a really minuscule amount, prob. about 1/2 of a teaspoon
