Check off the bucket list. I have wanted to do three centuries in three days ever since doing my first century. Saturday and Sunday I rode across the state of Florida and Monday I rode on a local trail. 300 miles, 19 hours on the bike, three days.
Today was a beautiful, sunny and quite hot day and I finished my second half marathon. Made a 12 minute progress as opposed to last years run at the same event. It was a bit different track with less ascent/descent, but am still proud and tired now. About 5000 runners on all three events (42k, 21k, 10k).
Official time: 1:46:04
Just did my first Century on may 13th. Of course it rained the first 20 miles and was in the low 50's so I was soaked the whole ride. I had something to prove to myself and a little water or cold wasn't going to stop me haha.
Thanks. The shoes are great. Very light, full carbon soles so they are very stiff. They also have dual adjustments for when you're feet swell during long rides. I'm loving them.
