TheFanMan's Grow Log 2011-2012

here we go my first grow log. im a bit late starting this so this first post will cover the last couple of months.

I was a bit unorganised this year and didn't get my seeds germinating as early as i should have. So to give me some other pepper types and something to do while i waited for my seeds i bought a few seedlings from the local nursery. IIRC they were from left to right

Red Hot Cayane, Caysan, 3 Orange Habs, Yellow Sweet, Hungarian Hot Wax and the 2 little pots are Orange Habs

Now heres my Jiffy pucks just after the first few popped.

Now i thought the peppers in the first pic in front of the shed wall had quite a good spot, they disagreed, aparently they thought it was too hot there, so i made them their own garden.

Ok now were upto date, these next few pics were taken this afternoon.

Remember those Jiffy pucks earlier? well i potted them all up into styrofoam cups today.

The peppers still thought this Aussie sun was too hot for them so i bought them a shade sale. Some of them also got planted in the ground, the others got moved around.

Wow, Nice space FanMan - Looks like a Master Gardener lives there!

I love the looks of that Hungarian Hot Wax, hows the flavor/heat?
The Red ones have a nice sweet flavor with a small amount of heat, the yellow ones don't have the sweetness and the heat is about the same.

These next pics were taken a few days ago on 5th Feb 2012

well we have had a really big wind storm here today (very unusual) and its really beating the crap out of my chillies :( . iv had quite a few un ripe pods drop and a couple of plants fall over. iv moved most of the plants in pots into my shed till the winds stops (yeah it's that bad) and staked up the others. now iv just got to hope they survive.

some of the guys next to the house aren't looking too good.
most of the newer leavers seem to be puckering and a lot of the edges are going raggedy.

if you look at the back right leaf you can see the spots in it and rough edges

this one looks eaten, not sure if its related to the others looking bad.

does anyone have an idea what is damaging these plants? i really want to get on top of it.

Hey, FanMan, that pic of the flowering
pepper plants is over the top awesome!
Good luck going into Fall(?)!

It is currently the middle of winter here and my season finished quite a while ago, hence the lack of updates.

most of my plants died long ago, the only ones that are still going (just) is the back row from this pic back in may. (the cold killed the front row)
