thoughts on nuts

i bought some liquid fert 5/15/5 to that i add 1tsp of epsom salt and a tums there will be a blut in there any thoughts on if that will sustain life in a hyro
 
what brand is it? lots of hydro ferts you buy these days have all the nutes you need micro and all so there would be no need to add epsom salt and tums if it already conatians Mg/Ca.
 
A lot of nutrients intended for soil aren't taken up the same as in hydro like urea. I used Peter's 20-20-20 in hydro and it worked. I used Miracle Gro in hydro and they keeled. There are much better cheap ACTUAL hydro nutrients out there.
 
+1 for jack.....some use small amount urea for Ph buffer...) ie advance nutrient..hehe...
