Too old?

Hey.

For the last 2 months I have been drying seeds and putting them in bottels.
I was wondering,how long can I keep my dry seeds before I have to plant them? When will they become too old ?

I had some seeds I got from someone that were dried sometime before 2006 and some of them germinated this year. The fresher they are, the higher the germination rate. You'll want to make sure to keep them as dry as possible.

I know of people that when they kept seeds in good conditions they lasted for years

you don't have to dry them. you can take them straight from the pepper and plant them. they seem to sprout much quicker the fresher the seeds.
